WWE Evolve from the Performance Center in Orlando, Fl:

  • Chazz “Starboy” Hall was cutting a promo to the camera while walking in the back when he spotted Kam Hendrix and Harley Riggins standing over Luca Crusifino and Tate Wilder, having attacked them.
  • Tristan Angels defeated Romeo Moreno by pinfall.
  • It’s Gal tried to make friends with Santi Rivera and Jacari Ball in the locker room. They went off to go work out together.
  • Byron Saxton introduced 4 new signees to WWE ID: Gianna Capri, former NXT Superstar Sloane Jacobs, Veronica Haven, and Anya Rune. After they did their usual “I trained at ___ and I’m excited to be here” generic stuff, PJ Vasa interrupted to gloat about how she’s going to win the title.
  • WWE EVOLVE Foreman Timothy Thatcher has added Tyra Mae Steele to the gauntlet for the women’s title. He also cancelled the scheduled Wilder and Crusifino vs. Hendrix and Riggins match due to the attack from earlier and postponed it for another time when they’re medically cleared.
  • WWE ID Prospects Women’s Championship Qualifier: Sloane Jacobs defeated Gianna Capri, Veronica Haven and Anya Rune by submission over Haven. Kali Armstrong then came to the ring to try to intimidate Jacobs. Laynie Luck jumped into the ring to fight with Armstrong, but ended up being humbled.
  • Lince Dorado was training Mike Cunningham while It’s Gal, Santi Rivera, and Jacari Ball were working out. Next week, Cunningham and Dorado will face Rivera and Ball.
  • Aaron Rourke was putting on his face paint when Hendrix and Riggins walked by to tease him, only for Rourke to shut them up.
  • WWE EVOLVE Championship Match: Aaron Rourke (c) retained over Chazz “Starboy” Hall by pinfall.
  • Hendrix and Riggins were watching backstage and were actually praising those two. Harlem Lewis walked by to say that Rourke is still ducking him.

AEW Dynamite from Edmonton, Alta:

We start the show with Will Ospreay and New Japan’s United Empire stable attacking the Death Riders. A big fight breaks out backstage and it spills out to the ring as well. After United Empire stand tall, Will Ospreay introduces us to his friends. They aren’t done tonight. They had a long flight and are looking to do more tonight.

#1. Andrade El Idolo, Mark Davis & Konosuke Takeshita (Don Callis Family) vs. Bandido, Darby Allin & Jungle Jack Perry – Winners: Don Callis Family

The Young Bucks and Rascalz save the babyfaces from a beatdown from the family.

#2. [TBS Championship] Willow Nightingale (c) vs. Queen Aminata – Winner: Willow Nightingale retains

Chris Jericho enters the ring. He has an AEW contract to sign. He talks to us about taking risks in his career, including getting with AEW in 2019. Jericho is proud and excited to continue building this company he helped to start.

He has had some stinkers in the past, but that’s what happens when you take risks. Jericho has got in the best shape he can because he respects this business, and he wants to be the best he can be. It doesn’t matter where he is on the card, the only thing he cares about is helping to build AEW, because he loves wrestling and he loves this company.

Just as he is about to sign the contract, he is interrupted by The Demand. The first thing Ricochet tells us is that Canada sucks. He tells Jericho to do himself a favor and just don’t sign his contract.

Why would he want to be back? He is one of the greatest AEW World Champions of all time… But he doesn’t know how much he has been watching, but they are in demand right now.

Nobody wants Jericho here. So do everyone a favor by packing it all up and getting out of his ring. Never come back to AEW before he gets himself hurt.

Chris Jericho thinks about this for a second. Actually, he doesn’t give a s*** what he thinks. His contract has a clause that means he can choose an opponent for Dynasty.

Do you know what happens when you’re bald? Do you know what happens when Jericho needs an opponent and doesn’t have one? Yes… You just made the list!

– Backstage, Don Callis tells us he needs a super team to take on the Young Bucks to avenge Kyle Fletcher, so he chooses Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada. Takeshita doesn’t like that. Calls tells him if they work together, they can fight for the International Championship. He orders them to shake hands.

#3. [#1 Spot In The Casino Battle Royal At Dynasty] Mascara Dorada vs. Tommaso Ciampa – Winner: Tommaso Ciampa

The War Dogs beat up Roderick Strong and Orange Cassidy backstage to send a message.

Thekla tells Jamie Hayter the division has changed since she was on top. She is the dumbest b**** alive, and come Dynasty, she will be the dumbest b**** dead.

– Next up, we have Adam Copeland and Christian Cage together in the ring. Copeland won’t apologize for FTR feeling inferior around him. The fact is that come Dynasty, C+C will become the tag team champions again.

Christian Cage tells FTR they have happened to piss off the entire nation of Canada. And as everyone’s favorite father, he can tell them they have been very naughty. He paid a visit to their mothers… and when he means paid a visit, he means he banged them both. As for Stokely, he will visit his mother as well, but he will do so as one-half of the tag team champs.

As FTR enter, RPG Vice blindsides C+C. This turns into a 4-on-2 beatdown. Stokely spears Christian Cage in a rare show of physicality. FTR attempts to break Christian’s arm by stomping on a chair wrapped around it.

#4. [Chaos In Canada] Will Ospreay, Callum Newman, Henare & Francesco Akira (United Empire) vs. Jon Moxley, Pac, Claudio Castagnoli & Daniel Garcia (Death Riders) – Winners: United Empire

Kenny Omega admits he may have lost his cool last week with MJF, but luckily Speedball Mike Bailey saved him from doing something stupid. What was he really mad at? Those nicknames aren’t just words to him. The fans called him those names at some point, and he has always respected that.

AEW was always meant to be something different. They wanted to give us something different to what we see elsewhere. MJF is famous for running his mouth, but Kenny Omega is famous for changing the landscape of pro wrestling in his image.

He thought AEW was all on him. That it was all his responsibility. It is not his legacy. It is the fans’ legacy. Wherever we are, the people deserve a champion who wears the belt with pride. He values the work more than ever and working even harder than ever. That belt he wears, he will take it from him and he will start to right the wrongs he has committed. With this version of Kenny Omega, that is a promise.

MJF enters. He tells Omega that he is proud. He is getting better at this talking thing. But he has to talk himself up because deep down he is scared. This may be his last shot at the AEW World Championship. The clock is ticking on his career. Bring the best version of himself, and the same thing will happen to them as what happens to everyone else. He is not on the level of the Devil. Their God will fall.

Omega suggests that MJF cares more about his title than he thought. Will he respect it by shaking his hand before the big fight? MJF throws down the mic. He chooses not to, and instead tries to attack Omega. The challenger saw it coming and takes him out. Omega takes his Dynamite Diamond Ring and tells MJF that again, he will be leaving Dynasty as the World Champion.
