The Review:

NXT’s Shawn Michaels and Performance Center Head Coach and VP of Talent Development Matt Bloom meet with the coaches:

Booker T, Bubba Ray Dudley, Kevin Owens and Natalya to introduce a new format for this season.

Vic Joseph and Jeremy Borash call the action. Blake Howard is the Ring Announcer for the first two matches, and Mike Rome does the honors for the Main Event.

The format this season concentrates on development and the possibility of getting the NXT call-up from Michaels at any time.

Match #1 – Kali Armstrong (coached by Booker T) defeats Nikkita Lyons (coached by Bubba Ray Dudley)

Match #2 – Drake Morreaux (coached by Bubba Ray Dudley) defeats Keanu Carver (coached by Kevin Owens)

The Main Event: Kendal Grey (coached by Natalya) defeats PJ Vasa (coached by Booker T): Post-match, Grey is elevated to NXT and is shown signing her NXT contract
